CHILLED Kids

A group for kids to help them manage frustration, disappointment and anger – and feel more co-operative

Does your 6 to 10 year old child struggle with feeling frustrated more often than average? Do they struggle to manage their disappointment or act co-operatively when they are angry?  Would you like them to learn strategies to manage frustration constructively and to feel more co-operative?

If so, we may be able to help with our 4-week group.

We have a 4-week Saturday morning group for children and parents/guardians to increase the knowledge kids have about anger and develop skills to manage their reactions when they feel disappointed, frustrated or angry.

Each session lasts for 75 minutes and will be run by a clinical child psychologist for up to 6 kids and their parent/guardian.  It involves watching short animated videos, some group discussion and then activities for you and your child to complete together.   In addition there will be approximately 40 minutes of practice (can be 4 x 10 minutes) between session activities to practice the skills learnt.

PLEASE NOTE - Chilled is not currently being facilitated at Developing Minds.
If you are interested in attending - please email admin@developingminds.net.au to be added to the waitlist for the next group.
