Room Rental - Suit health/allied health/wellness professional looking to build practice in central location
We have up to four rooms (plus access to waiting room, toilets and kitchenette) in our Wayville clinic available for rent - either by the day or by the week. These would ideally suit an allied health or wellness professional such as a psychologist, speech therapist, occupational therapist, nutritionist or consultant psychiatrist etc - who might be looking for a central position for their own independent practice - but with ready made collegial support, co-referral and networking opportunities built in.
*Please note in order to avoid a conflict of interest we are not able to rent these rooms to other psychologists who provide therapy to children/teens- psychologists seeing adults OR those doing assessment only work with children are welcome.
Location: In quiet Jacaranda lined street in Wayville just behind Greenhill Road and Annesley College. One minute walk from tram stop and 5 minute drive from the CBD. 3 minute walk to King William Road coffee shops. Some on-site parking spots for staff may be able to be negotiated and plenty of 3 hour street parking for clients/patients. Plenty of all day street parking is also available either for a small fee or free after 10am.
Rooms: We have up to four ground floor rooms with access to a shared waiting room, kitchenette and toilets. All rooms are between 11 and 14 square metres, all have windows and natural light, and have been newly carpeted and freshly painted. Typical consulting room furnishings (desk, chairs etc) can be provided or you can bring your own. We currently have one adult psychologist renting one of these downstairs rooms on two days per week, we may use another of the rooms for another day or so a week - and are hoping all five downstairs rooms with like-minded professionals.
Who else is in the building? On the first floor of the building (upstairs) is Developing Minds - we have 10 child/adolescent psychologists working (part time) in our 6 consulting rooms upstairs and (another 13 working at our 8 room Aberfoyle Park clinic). The entrance for our families who come upstairs is separate from the waiting room and consulting rooms available for rent downstairs. There is also an accountant who works out of the right hand side of the building (again, separate from new waiting room and consulting rooms).

Bonuses:
Referrals - Depending on what is appropriate and helpful for our families (approximately 200 per week across both clinics), we are able to refer to adult psychologists, psychologists providing assessments and other health/wellness professionals. Depending on the professional/industry, we may also be able to provide networking/collegiate support (ie potentially join us in our lunch room at times upstairs as we take a break in the middle of the day).
Support in building a practice: For those just starting out in wellness/health/allied health private practice, if desired, we can negotiate reduced rate business coaching supervision with the practice owner (23 years experience in building and sustaining a psychology practice in Adelaide).
Costs: We are still finalising costs but anticipate charging approximately $115 per room for the full day (2 day a week minimum) or $345 per week depending on desired time commitment (please note we will prefer at least an annual lease). For multiple rooms, discounts can be offered.
